About Greenwood

The City of Greenwood consists of Pleasant, Clark and White River Townships and incorporates 3 different school systems, Greenwood, Center Grove and Whiteland. Greenwood is the 4th largest suburb of the Indianapolis area. It is located approximately 20-30 minutes south of downtown Indianapolis. Greenwood features over 400 acres of parks and greenspace along with Freedom Springs, the city’s public water park. Presently, Greenwood is undertaking a redevelopment of the former Greenwood Middle School. The new development will feature mixed-use space with luxury apartments and condos, light commercial property and a fieldhouse.
