About Beech Grove

Nestled on the southside of Indy, Beech Grove is a city within a city. Beech Grove is surrounded by Indianapolis but has its own independent government thanks to Marion County’s Unigov system. Beech Grove has its own school system and ambulance service. Main Street is home to essential restaurants, some retail and infrastructure such as city hall, the post office, and police station. Beech Grove has a population of approximately 14,000.
